Her story:
I am originally from Amherst, Ohio which is small town about 35 miles west of Cleveland.  I then went to college at Ithaca College in upstate New York. My family has been coming out here in the winter and summer since I was 3. I began asking them to move to Colorado at the age of 10. I finally moved out here in 2001 and have loved it!  My family considers this part of the country Paradise.  I proved that you can live in Paradise and be very happy.

My husband, Rod, and I purchased our first home in 1995.  I thought back then that this would be a great career.  We have done several flips since then and enjoyed the process.  Rod and I decided that it would be good to have one of us in the business to help find properties.  That coupled with my passion for helping people made real estate a perfect match for me.  I’ve been in the business since May of 2007 and plan on being here for a long time.

When I first got my license, I researched companies and found that the support, mentor program and continuing education with Keller Williams was superior to other companies.  I talked to agents from other companies who said that if they had to start again, they would have wanted a mentor and urged me to join KW.  I’m so happy I made this decision.

My favorite part of being a Realtor is the people.  I have made so many friends in this business, most of which are/were clients. Everyone has a story or an adventure that I’m part of.  It’s exciting to help people through big changes in their lives and have a positive impact on the process.  It’s very rewarding.

I like this business so much that I don’t think of it as work.  I’m with friends 6 days a week and on vacation for one.  The time I take away from real estate is spent skiing, hiking and quilting.  The biggest enjoyment I have is living where I live. It took me 35 years to get here and I am constantly reminded of what a special place this is.  The views. The people. The culture.  I’m at home.

Rebecca’s purpose is very much a prime example of Keller Williams: helping people find homes worth owning and lives worth living.
