Loveland Centerra interchange
October 27th, 2009As we look at bringing businesses and thus jobs into the Loveland area, we also look at their needs. Among them, they need real estate to build on and a means to get their products to their customers. Ergo, road maintenance comes up more often in conversation.
Interstate 25 is the main thoroughfare in northern Colorado. Highway 34 connects Greeley, Centerra and Loveland. It is very important to maintain where these two roads meet. The economies depend upon this intersection staying functional.
The Loveland City Council has just recently approved a plan to modify and improve the interchange. Among the tasks are “removing two exit loop ramps and adding traffic signals.” The main catch with the approved plan is the limitation of additional landscaping. Focus has been placed on maintaining the current beauty of the property instead of sinking more money into aesthetics.
